Frequently Asked Questions

A racino combines a racetrack with casino-style gaming. At Northfield Park, that means live harness racing and simulcast wagering alongside more than 1,700 video lottery terminals. Unlike a traditional Ohio casino, Northfield Park does not offer table games such as blackjack or poker. The property also includes a sportsbook, restaurants and live entertainment venues.

Northfield Park brings several types of entertainment together on one property. Guests can combine gaming with live harness racing, sports betting, dining and concerts or comedy shows. Its location on the historic Northfield Park racing grounds also gives it a different identity from a standalone casino.

Yes. A visit can include dinner at one of several restaurants, gaming, a visit to Caesars Sportsbook, live racing on scheduled race nights and a concert or other event when one is on the calendar. Because these options are located on the same property, guests can plan a full evening around more than one activity.

Yes, although age restrictions depend on which part of the property you visit. The racetrack is open to all ages, with guests required to be at least 18 to wager on racing. The racino, restaurants and entertainment venues require guests to be 21 or older, even if they do not intend to gamble.

Yes. Northfield Park combines VLT gaming with a Caesars Sportsbook, giving guests access to casino-style gaming and sports wagering at the same property. The sportsbook complements the racino’s longstanding connection to horse racing and wagering while adding betting on major professional and college sports.
